Access
The Site is intended for any person (hereafter referred to as “the User”) seeking to submit a speculative application or to access a specific job vacancy made by the Company.
The “your space” service can only be accessed by login and password.
The Company reserves the right to modify, improve, and add to the services offered on the Site at any time.
User’s Obligations
User shall take all necessary measures to ensure the confidentiality and preservation of his/her access code, and to ensure that it is not divulged to any other person.
Neither the Company nor any other company of the Group using the Site shall be held liable for any fraudulent use of the access code.
Operations performed on the Site under the User's login details are deemed to have been carried out on behalf of that User, who assumes liability.
The Site's exclusive purpose is to facilitate the Company's recruitment process. It should be accessible to the User for the sole purpose of enabling him/her to view and apply for vacancies. As such, the User shall refrain, in his/her personal area and the free-text entry areas available on the Site, from any unlawful use, including sending messages or producing recordings of violent, defamatory, or illegal content.
Company Obligations
The Company shall provide all resources available in order to offer the best services to the User and to facilitate his/her access.
As such, the Company will ensure access to the Site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, access may be restricted at the discretion of the Company and its operational or hosting suppliers due to maintenance or other technical reasons. In these specific instances of limited access, the Company will give prior notice to the User and will endeavour to limit the duration of this interruption.
The Company also reserves the right to suspend access to services without being held liable in cases such as attacks on the Site (viruses, malicious intrusions, etc.) which may potentially affect the capacity, security or integrity of processing or data, notice by the Company of the presence of illegal content, a request for suspension or restriction of Site access made by an administrative or judicial authority, or through formal notice from a third party.
Copyright and Intellectual Property
All items appearing on our Site are protected under intellectual property law. Consequently, any reproduction or imitation of these items, whether in full or in part, without our prior express consent in writing, is strictly prohibited.
It is formally to collect and use the information on the Site for commercial purposes. This prohibition covers in particular, but is not limited to, any editorial item appearing on the Site, the presentation of screens, operational software, logos, images, photos, and graphics of any kind.
Applicable law & Jurisdiction
The present legal notice is governed by the applicable law of the country in which the Site is established. Any dispute relating to the validity, interpretation or execution of this legal notice that cannot be resolved amicably within three (3) months from notification of such dispute shall be subject to the courts of Pontoise, France.

The Company shall ensure the security of data in order to prevent its alteration, damage, or supply to unauthorized third parties and to ensure that it is used exclusively to manage and follow-up Users' speculative applications or applications for vacant positions.
The Company shall not be liable to the User for the loss or disappearance of data pertaining to the User in the event of a force majeure according to the applicable law, or the actions of a third party.
Processing of personal data for recruitment purposes
Data controllers and purposes of data processing
The companies within the SPIE Group and their subsidiaries situated within the European Union may –in their capacity as data controllers– use the personal data that you send to manage their recruitment operations. These operations concern the receipt and sorting of the responses received, the management of the different stages of the recruitment process and the performance of statistical studies concerning the recruitment activities. Your data will not be used for the purpose of automated decision making. The recruitment data collected and processed by the Company are the information that you provide us directly as part of the recruitment process.
All appropriate technical and organizational security measures are taken in relation to the processing described to prevent any unauthorized access, amendment, disclosure, destruction or loss of your data.
Data categories and sources
The data collected belong to the following categories : relating to the site, title, forename, surname, date of birth, town/city, country, telephone number, job sought, main training, languages, professional experience, voluntary statement on disabled worker status, profiles from social networks, curriculum vitae and cover letter; as part of the hiring process, gender, nationality, private and business contact details, professional and university experience, current remuneration and remuneration sought, family situation, social network accounts, former and current line managers, identity and contact details of any person who may have recommended you. The collection of such data is not compulsory in nature, but it is a prerequisite for the conclusion of an employment contract, where applicable : you may refuse the collection of your data; however, any missing data or a refusal to provide your data may result in termination of the candidacy process.
Legal basis
Your personal data are collected on the basis of the data controller’s legitimate interest in managing recruitment and selecting the profile that is best suited to the position on offer, with the exception of any sensitive data that may be collected. Your data will be used to create your new starter file as part of our welcome process for new employees.
Retention
The data retention period is set in accordance with the durations defined by the applicable law in force in the country of the Company or its subsidiaries where you submit your application.
Before expiry of this legal retention period, you will receive an email requesting that you update your details. Should you fail to respond within the period specified in the email, or should you refuse to update your details, we will not retain your data. Your data will be deleted from our databases.
Recipients and transfers outside the European Union
In the absence of any legislative or regulatory provision or court judgment stating otherwise, the data collected are intended for use by the operational services concerned and by the human resources departments of the Group companies concerned by your application, together with any subcontractors, in particular the company Talentsoft which houses the application management platform (front and back office). The data collected will be hosted in Europe, but it may be accessible from outside of the European Union by subsidiaries of the company SPIE Global Services Energy, which may be based in countries that do not have a sufficient level of protection. Standard contractual clauses have been agreed with the entities concerned to ensure that such data benefits from a level of security that is equivalent to the level of security from which they benefit within the European Union.

User Rights to appeal, access and modify data
As a reminder, in relation to the processing of your personal data, and in accordance with French data protection legislation, you have the following rights :
- The right of access. You have the right to ask us whether we are holding any personal data concerning you and to request that we provide you with a copy of it.
- The right to rectification. You have the right to correct your data if they are inaccurate or incomplete.
- The right to deletion. This right entitles you to request the deletion of your personal data.
- The right to restriction of processing. You have the right to request that we temporarily suspend the processing of your personal data while you exercise your rights to correction or to object.
